Stunning places in Provence !

Hi,

If the Luberon area is a nice part of the Provence region, we do admit that it's not the only place you have to visit where you are in Provence!

Cultural heritage, natural sites ... you have so many choices in our nice region!

First unmissable place: The Pont du Gard, not so far from Avignon! This roman aqueduct is the most ancient monument visited in France. With its three vertical levels of arches, it is the highest roman monument ! This place is also listed as a world heritage site by Unesco.

Another site you have to visit : The Verdon Canyon : This is one of the deepest canyons we have in Europe and it is famous for its climbing walls. It is also a good site for a road ride! Take the  " route des Crêtes " or  the " route de la Corniche" to enjoy a wonderful panoramic view! on the way, you can have aslo a stop in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, a very beautiful village where you can have a lunch or discover a local specility : the earthenware.

Finally, when you heard the word Provence, you think inmediately to .... the lavender! Indeed, during June and July, the lavender fields appear in the region and if you can find the biggest near Valensole, you have also some good one near Sault, not so far from the Mont Ventoux! This area is very nice to have photo tours!
